摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which can measure glucose in a bloodless manner and with a high degree of accuracy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device for measuring the glucose level in a living tissue includes electrodes which are brought into contact with a test specimen and a voltage control oscillator (31) as a signal source for generating an AC voltage within a predetermined frequency range. The voltage between the electrodes is supplied to processing circuits (37 and 38). The processing circuits (37 and 38) convert the voltage into a glucose level by using calibration data. The voltage control oscillator (31) has a symmetrical structure which has a variable amplification factor for generating signals with small distortions with a small amount of supply voltage and within a large frequency range. The processing circuits (37 and 38) are provided with a simple rectifying network which is subjected to correction on the basis of software.
