PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size, and to increase capacitance, in a manufacturing method of a capacitor used for an automobile etc. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the capacitor has a step of applying a DC voltage to a nozzle for jetting a solution dissolving fibers and electrode foil, a step of forming an insulated fiber layer 10c by depositing fibers having fiber diameters of 1 μm or smaller on a surface of the electrode foil, a step of forming a capacitor element by winding the electrode foil and other electrode foil facing the electrode foil, and a step of sealing the capacitor element together with an electrolyte for drive by a sheathing body. Since the method can considerably reduce the thickness of the insulated fiber layer 10c, the capacitor element 15 is miniaturized, and a long service life and the reduction in size and the increase in the capacitance can be achieved.
