MULTI BAND BALUN

摘要

A balun with an input terminal and two output terminals comprises a first transmission line which includes an LH (Left-Handed) feature in a low frequency band and an RH (Right-Handed) feature in a high frequency band by connecting to the input terminal and one of the output terminals, and a second transmission line which includes an RH feature in the low frequency band and an LH feature in the high frequency band by connecting to the input terminal and the other output terminals. CRLH and DCRLH structures, which are meta-material structures, are applied to the structure of a transmission line of a balun to miniaturize a dual band and an RF device. Moreover, a transmission line is inserted between output terminals of a balun to increase isolation between two terminals.
