<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform stable radio communication by adaptively responding to increase/decrease in fading to effectively use frequency resources by switching a radio communication system to the one for assigning frequency diversity as an independent signal string in time when an influence of the fading is small. <P>SOLUTION: The radio communication system performs communication by selecting fourfold diversity which is constituted of spatial diversity using two non-correlated antennas and the frequency diversity using two waves of frequencies f1, f2, or double diversity only of the spatial diversity. A matching filter 211 decides, when all pieces of tap information from adaptive matching filters 207-210 show values equal to or more than a threshold, that an influence of the fading is less, switches changeover switches 104, 215 to be operated only with the spatial diversity, and transmits/receives two pieces of independent transmission data to be modulated by modulators 102, 103, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
