<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering device which is easy to be assembled. <P>SOLUTION: The end surface 201 on the side of the first end 20a of a worm shaft 20 is shifted from the first end surface 431 of a stator core 43 to the side of the second end 20b of the worm shaft 20 by an offset length L2 in an axial direction X1. A rotor 41 includes an internal cylindrical part 45 having an extending part 49 and an external cylindrical part 46 having a magnetic pole formation part 48. The extending length L1 of the extending part 49 is the distance between the second end surfaces 452, 462 of the internal cylindrical part 45 and the external cylindrical part 46 with respect to the axial direction X1. The extending length L1 is longer than the offset length L2 (L1>L2). The extending part 49 is fitted around the worm shaft 20 before the magnetic pole formation part 48 of the external cylindrical part 46 faces the stator core 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
