<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely eliminate play at an engagement part in a screw mechanism without generating excessive friction force in a steering shaft in an electric vehicular steering device. <P>SOLUTION: The electric vehicular steering device includes a hollow rotary shaft 11 for a motor 10, the steering shaft 20 extending in the vehicle width direction, a screw mechanism 30 for converting rotation of the hollow rotary shaft 11 to transmit it into axial movement of the steering shaft 20, and a pair of right and left tie rods 21L, 21R connected to each right and left ends of the steering shaft 20. The respective tie rods 21L, 21R are arranged so as to incline by a predetermined amount with respect to the steering shaft 20 when a vehicle is in a state of near to the standard height and in a state of near to a state of straight advance. A pressing mechanism 60 is arranged between the steering shaft 20 and a housing 50, the pressing mechanism 60 pressing the steering shaft 20 in the direction same to the action direction of a load F1 applied by the respective tie rods 21L, 21R in the radial direction of the steering shaft 20.
