PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch contactor capable of maintaining contact pressure at a branch connection spot steadily for a long period. SOLUTION: According to the branch contactor, a pair of conductive contactors 12 and 14 are set opposite to each other across a given distance in such a way that one end of the pair makes up an insertion end 10b at which the conductive contactors 12 and 14 are separated from each other while the other end makes up a connected end 10a at which the conductive contactors 12 and 14 are connected together, and that the insertion end 10b is inserted between conductive portions to be in contact therewith for branch connection. The branch contactor includes a contraction portion 10c where the opposed conductive contactors 12 and 14 disposed closer to the connected end 10a than to the insertion end 10b approach each other, and a distance-added portion 10d which extends from the contraction portion 10c toward the connected end 10a over a given distance and where the distance between the opposed conductive contactors 12 and 14 is made wider than that on the contraction portion 10c.
