PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably discharge polishing chips in a bottom chamber between a fixed tank and a turntable. SOLUTION: A barrel polishing machine includes the fixed tank 12, the turntable 13 rotatably housed in the fixed tank 12, a bottom chamber 18 lower than the turntable 13 in the fixed tank 12, and a discharge port 22 formed on an underplate (bottom wall) of the bottom chamber 18. A nozzle 24 for delivering pressurized air (fluid) in the bottom chamber 18 is provided in the bottom chamber 18. Because polishing chips in the bottom chamber 18 are fluidized together with a flow of the pressurized air delivered from the nozzle 24, they do not remain at a specific portion.
