<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stopper for preventing coming-off of a slider of a liner guide device which is easily attached to a guide rail without damaging the guide rail. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The stopper is composed of a body 5 and a spacer 6. The body 5 is composed of a pair of side members 51 arranged at both sides of the guide rail 1, and a connecting part 52 connecting the both side members 51 and arranged on an upper surface of the guide rail 1. The both side members 51 include groove engagement parts 51a engaged with rolling grooves 11a on both side surfaces of the guide rail 1. A recessed part 52a is formed on a surface at the guide rail 1 side of the connecting part 52. The spacer 6 is a plate shape member having a wedge shape at one end. The spacer 6 is press-fitted in a gap between the recessed part 52a and the upper surface of the guide rail 1 after engaging the groove engagement part 51a with the rolling groove 11a and attaching the body 5 to the guide rail 1.
