PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector assembly with a means capable of confirming locking of a fitting state while responding to requirements for miniaturization of outline dimensions. SOLUTION: The receptacle connector 200 has a locking section 352 arranged so as to move along an X direction. The locking section 352 can move between a locking position and an unlocking position while the receptacle connector 200 is fitted to a plug connector 300. The plug connector 300 has a locked section 232 and a detection switch 240. The locked section 232 and the locking section 352 lock a fitting state between the receptacle connector 200 and the plug connector 300 by cooperating together.
