PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a nonwoven fabric by such a process that fibers spun in a semi-molten state are fed onto a forming plate without scattering to effect uniform lamination to form the objective nonwoven fabric. SOLUTION: The method for producing the nonwoven fabric by a melt blow technique includes providing a forming plate 4 fed with spun fibers 6 in a semi-molten state with a plurality of sharp-pointed needles 3; and laminating the fibers 6 among the needles 3 so as not to scatter the fibers 6.
