<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for diagnosing remaining life of high temperature plant equipment capable of diagnosing the remaining life of plant equipment without making it necessary to spend a long time, because the measurement data of target plant equipment is absent, and performing risk evaluation based on the remaining life assessment result. <P>SOLUTION: This remaining life assessment system is provided with: a remaining life evaluation module for estimating the remaining life of the target site of plant equipment based on the operation conditions of a diagnosing target plant equipment and a conventional inspection result database and a conventional life assessment result database; an update/inspection planning module for calculating costs necessary for the update and test of the target site of the plant equipment, and for performing risk evaluation when neither inspection nor update is performed based on the estimation result of the remaining life evaluation module and the conventional update/inspection construction database and an event example and economical loss database; and a proposal module for creating and outputting the plan proposal of update and inspection based on the evaluation results of the remaining life evaluation module and the update/inspection planning module. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
