<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb a change with time of the characteristics of a driving transistor without causing an increase in a circuit scale and a decrease in the reproducibility on a low tone side in a light emitting device equipped with light emitting elements. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device 10 includes the light emitting element P, a capacitive element C1 which holds a written voltage, and the driving transistor TRa which generates a drive signal to drive the light emitting element P on the basis of the voltage held in the capacitive element C1. The capacitive element C1 has a first electrode R1 to which a fixed power supply potential Vel is supplied, and a second electrode R2. The voltage is written into the capacitive element C1 by supplying a current to the second electrode R2, while the potential of the second electrode R2 is measured. Thereafter, the measured potential is supplied to the second electrode R2 to write the voltage in the capacitive element C1. The process is repeatedly carried out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
