<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a variation in drive currents output from a driving transistor. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting device includes a plurality of scanning lines, a plurality of data lines, and a plurality of pixel circuits disposed according to intersections thereof. The pixel circuit includes an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) element and a drive transistor. The plurality of scanning lines are sequentially selected by scanning signals GWRT-1 to GWRT-360. A program period TWRT is allocated to the latter half of a horizontal scanning period. A correction period TSET is allocated to the first half of a plurality of horizontal scanning periods before the program period TWRT, and a variation in drive current outputted from the drive transistor is corrected during the plurality of correction periods TSET. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
