<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely and visually recognize a display value displayed on a display of a front panel and respective welding conditions which are set by respective setting switches even if an operator is apart from a welding source. <P>SOLUTION: A welding power supply includes a housing of the welding source and the front panel having a plurality of operators and displays in the housing. The operators and the displays are arranged in the front panel, and the front panel and the welding source are connected by a multiconductor cable. A parameter which is set by the operator is inputted to the welding source, and a parameter outputted from the welding source is displayed on the display. An attachment and detachment mechanism attaching/detaching the front panel is arranged in the housing of the welding source. At the time of installing the front panel, the multiconductor cable is stored in a gap between a rear face of the front panel and the housing in a loop shape, and is extended and removed from the gap at the time of removing it.
