<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achive an image evaluation method which evaluates an electrostatic latent image formed in accordance with input information, in relation to the input information. <P>SOLUTION: The image evaluation is performed as follows. An optical image is written to a charged photoconductive photoreceptor 157 on the basis of input information having at least information about the shape and area of an input pattern, to form a corresponding electrostatic latent image 161 corresponding to the input pattern, and the area of the corresponding electrostatic latent image 161 is measured, and an area difference between the area of the input information and the area of the corresponding electrostatic latent image 161 is measured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
