PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated core and a method of manufacturing the same capable of producing high-quality products with high efficiency, without being affected by swelling in the thickness direction of connection. SOLUTION: In the laminated core 10, adjacent segment iron pieces 13 are mutually coupled by a junction 12; a plurality of successive segment core pieces 13 are wound spirally and are laminated, while aligning the side ends 14 of the segment core pieces 13 by folding the junction 12; the side ends 14 of the adjacent segment core pieces 13 wound are proximally positioned with a gap; and the position of the junctions 12 of the vertically adjacent segment core pieces 13 are shifted in the circumferential direction.
