PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breather inhibiting increase of the size and weight of a case and simplifying processing. SOLUTION: The breather 1 includes: bolt holes 5 provided in the case 253 comprising a plurality of divided members, in which bolts 3 for connecting and fixing the divided members to each other are inserted with gaps left between the bolt holes and the bolts 3; internal connection holes 7 provided in the case 253 and bringing an internal space of the case 253 and the bolt holes 5 into communication with each other; and external connection holes 9 provided in the case 253 and bringing an external space of the case 253 and the bolt holes 5 into communication with each other.
