The present invention relates to satin-matte glass which has a completely homogeneous, uniform finish, a smooth feel and a pleasing appearance. The invention has defined values for transmittance, absorbance, reflectance and roughness, and a series of micrographs are obtained with an atomic strength microscope in order to see the morphology and structure of the satin glass. The glass has a roughness Ra of 1.04 to 4.07 and a roughness Rz of 6.7 to 23.2, as well as a transmittance (%), an absorbance (%) and a reflectance (%). The satin-matte glass is suitable for use in the glass and construction industries.
