HYPERBAND ANTENNA ARM AND ANTENNA

A hyperband antenna arm comprises a first portion (1 ) and a second portion (3). The first portion (1) is of conducting material and is in the form of an axially symmetrical cone having an included angle at an apex thereof in a range from 70 to 170 degrees. The second portion (3) is also of conducting material and is of circular cross-section. The second portion is connected to and extends from a periphery of a base of the cone in a direction away from the apex thereof and has an outer surface with an angle in a range of 50 to 130 degrees to a plane containing the base of the cone. A feed point (5) is provided at the apex of the cone.
