<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure 1 for a living body suitable for fixing and depositing cells such as an artificial bone, a bone prosthetic material, or a cell-culture carrier, facilitating cell invasion from multiple directions and propagating and cultivating them further. <P>SOLUTION: The structure 1 for the living body is composed by gathering and fixing fine molded objects 2 which have at least one through-hole 3 whose cross sectional shape is roughly circular in the longitudinal direction and whose main component essentially onsists of calcium phosphate. The outer shape of the fine molded object 2 is columnar, and simultaneously the directions of the through-holes 3 of the gathered respective fine molded objects 2 are positioned randomly and/or in alignment in three-dimensional directions. The contact surfaces of the fine molded objects 2 with each other are bonded and fixed further, and three-dimensional mesh-like pores 4 are formed in gaps between the fine molded objects 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
