PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively configure a system by making it unnecessary to perform any complicate operation even when the host bus adaptor of an information processor is changed. SOLUTION: A storage system includes: a path information extracting part 112 which extracts path information indicating a communication path between an information processor that is the transmission source and a communication data receiving part 111 from communication data received by the communication data receiving part 111; and a specific information creating part 113 which creates specific information indicating the information processor that is the transmission source of the communication data based on the path information extracted by the path information extracting part 112.
