PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give no fear to elevator users when restarting normal operation of an elevator after stopping the operation in accordance with earthquake arrival prediction information. SOLUTION: When an earthquake sensing device 3 does not detect an earthquake, when stopping the operation of the elevator in accordance with earthquake arrival prediction information received from an emergency-earthquake-alert-receiving-device 2, a control device body 1 restarts the operation of the elevator after the passage of a predetermined time. However, a message output part 1f outputs voice messages into the elevator prior to the restarting operation of the elevator through notifying that the operation is to restarted, giving no fear to the elevator users.
