<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily and safely detach and open/close a cover, and to protect a portion that covers over the cover, without fail, while maintaining ease of access to a battery chamber or a slot for a memory card, or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A folded part 23 covering over a part of the back of a camera 11 is provided to a cover 10, made of silicone rubber, and a large rectangular opening 22 for exposing a liquid crystal display part 20 provided to the back of the camera 11 is formed on the folded part 23. By widening the large opening 22 and inserting the camera 11 therein, the cover 10 is attached. A projection 27 is provided to one corner 22a of the large opening 22. A finger putting surface 27a, on which a finger is put is provided to the projection 27. The projection 27 is formed so that its rigidity is higher than in other parts and formed with thickness to transmit pressing-down force acting on the finger pad surface 27a to one corner 22a. When the one corner 22a is pressed down, the projection rides over the angle part 11a of the camera 11 and exposes the opening/closing path of the cover 30 for the replacement of a battery.
