<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage container that stores many disk-like recording media, also makes it easy to mechanically store the disk-like recording media, makes it possible to see all the stored disk-like recording media at the same time and, makes it easy to take the stored media out of the container. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The storage container 1 for disk-like recording medium includes two door plates 2 and one or more inner plates 3 set between these doors 2, at least each inner plate 3 having on both its sides storage portions 5 for disk-like recording media D. In the storage container 1, the door plates 2 and inner plates 3 are square flat plates substantially identical in appearance. The plates are connected together in a zigzag line via a hinge 4 disposed at one side that is the edge of the end of the inside of each door plate 2, a hinge 4 disposed at one side that is the edge of the one end of one surface of each inner plate, and a hinge 4 disposed at one side that is the edge of the one end of the other surface of it, which is opposite the one side.
