PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face mask, capable of meeting demands for high-level face protecting functions, constitutional simplicity, light weight, favorable feel, easy use, low cost, etc. SOLUTION: The device includes a laterally long strap member 11 to be applied laterally along the forehead H1 of a human, a surface mask member 21 to cover the face F of the human, and head installation members 31 to be removably installed on the head H of the human to hold the installation state. The laterally long strap member 11 and an upper edge part 22 of the mask member 21 are combined with each other in such a way that the mask member 21 hangs from the laterally long strap member 11. The head installation members 31 are connected to both end parts of the laterally long strap member 11 in such a way that the head installation member 31 is removably installed to the head H of the human.
