<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL (electroluminescence) display apparatus with an organic EL layer appropriately patterned, even when conducting a plasma processing on the surface of banks to appropriately patterning the organic EL layer. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence display apparatus includes a first electrode 2, a conductive layer 4, a light-emitting layer 5, and a second electrode 6 laminated on a substrate 1 from the substrate 1 side in this order, and a bank 3 for surrounding the circumference of the conductive layer 4 and the light-emitting layer 6. The concentration of fluorine atom on the surface of the conductive layer 4 of the organic electroluminescence display apparatus is not more than 6 atom% with respect to all the element contents, when measurement is performed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
