PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a full dynamic range, even under an environment where there is a very large amount of light. SOLUTION: A storage means 34, which stores a signal read from each pixel 311 of a pixel array section 31, has a capacity sufficient for storing the number of pieces of pixel information more than the number of the pixels 311 of the pixel array section 31. A signal of each pixel 311 stored in the storage means 34 and the signal of each pixel 311, read from the pixel array section 31, are added in the operation means 334, or prior to adding and averaging, based on the detection result of a movement vector detection means 38, which detects the movement vector of a later image to a previous image in terms of time, an address for storing the signal of each pixel 311 read from the pixel array section 31 into the storage means 34 is corrected. The signal of the pixel 311, after the correction of the address, constitutes a solid-state imaging apparatus 10B which is stored in a storage region of the pixel 311 corresponding to the storage means 34.
