DRAIN VALVE ATTACHMENT SYSTEM

The invention relates to a drain valve attachment system. Drain valves are used to extract the water that accumulates in the lower part of the fuel tanks of aircraft and are attached at a lower coating that forms part of the tanks. The lower coating is provided with recesses for housing the heads of the valves, which, together with axial locknuts, block the movement of the valves at the coating. The invention is characterised in that the recesses comprise a conical structure obtained by means of deformation of the lower coating, said deformation also creating an inner raised seat which is pressed by the axial locknuts, such as to maintain the thickness of the coating in the area containing the valves without weakening the area as usually happens.
