PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passive entry system (PES) which is excellent in security, and restrains a portable machine from being locked in.
SOLUTION: An area 71 indicated by an ellipse shown by dotted lines in Fig. indicates an in-vehicle LF communication area in which the body machine can communicate with the portable machine by an in-vehicle LF communication signal. Additionally, areas 72-1 to 72-4 indicated by ellipses shown by dotted lines in Fig. indicate out-of-vehicle LF communication areas in which the body machine can communicate with the portable machine by an out-of-vehicle LF communication signal. When the portable machine is positioned at four kinds of indoor Null points, the portable machine is locked in when the door is locked because it is recognized that the portable machine is positioned in the out-of-vehicle LF communication area and outside the vehicle, though the portable machine is positioned in a vehicle interior. When an answer signal responding to a request signal of the out-of-vehicle LF communication signal is rightly received, the right or wrong of door locking is controlled by further determining whether or not the output value of an acceleration sensor is a preset threshold or above.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
