<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine capable of satisfactorily evoking the interest of a general user to trade articles in the vending machine based on trade article ranking data. <P>SOLUTION: In the vending machine 100, a ranking storage part 121 stores the trade article ranking data TRD of a plurality of types of stored trade articles in the vending machine, and a mode storage part 122 stores a plurality of output change modes in which output configurations are changed, and when at least one of a plurality of output change modes is validly set in a mode setting part 123, an output change part 131 changes the output configurations of the trade article ranking data TRD in response to this, and a ranking notification part 141 outputs the trade article ranking data TRD in the changed output configurations by notification.
