PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device which is not likely to have harmful effect on a circuit board even when water or the like intrudes in a meter from a periphery of a knob without increasing the number of components. SOLUTION: The switch device includes a protection cover 1, a case 20 for housing and holding an operation shaft 10 and arranged on a rear surface side of the protection cover 1, and a circuit board 30 arranged on a rear surface side of the case 20 and mounting a switch 31 oppositely arranged to the operation shaft 10. A flange part 131, and a receiving part 13 for receiving the water intruding from an external are arranged on the operation shaft 10 between the protection cover 1 and the case 20, and a drainage path 24 for draining the water flowing in through the receiving part 13 outside the case 20 is arranged in a position corresponding to an opening part 133 of the case 20. A water receiving path 23 for guiding the water flowing out from the opening part 133 to the drainage path 24 includes an overlapped part 230 which overlaps with the drainage path 24 while making a predetermined space with a part of the water receiving passage 23 serving as an upper part.
