摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that facilitates handling of a charging system even in a cold environment. SOLUTION: A charging device 1 charges a charging target via current supply lines 31, 32. A CPLT circuit 12 transmits data of cable characteristics, including a shape of a connector 3 or a current capacity of an AC power supply 2, to the charging target via CPLT lines 33, 34. An inlet 4 short-circuits only the current supply lines 31, 32 during the non-charging time or it short-circuits both of the current supply lines 31, 32 and the CPLT lines 33, 34. An AC/DC converter 11 supplies a current only to the current supply lines 31, 32 short-circuited during the non-charging time or it supplies a current to both of the short-circuited current supply lines 31, 32 and the short-circuited CPLT lines 33, 34. A charging cable is used for charging the charging target during the charging time and used for raising the temperature of the charging cable itself during the non-charging time. A heating-medium pipe in which hot water flows is not used but the charging cable functioning as a means for charging and temperature raising is used. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
