PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-processing device for achieving reliable imbricating stack of a bunch of sheets without causing the buckling thereof, and to provide an image forming apparatus with the same. SOLUTION: The sheet post-processing device includes a stacking means for stacking the bunch of folded sheets subjected to folding processing, a discharging means for discharging the bunch of folded sheets starting at their folded ends to the stacking means, and a transfer means arranged on the stacking means for transferring the bunch of folded sheets stacked by the stacking means. The transfer means starts the transfer the preceding bunch of folded sheets so that the folded ends of the following bunch of folded sheets discharged by the discharging means abut on the preceding bunch of folded sheets being transferred downstream in the discharging direction.
