PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic device equipped with a mist generator which performs heating for generating steam and heat sterilization of a liquid for generating the mist efficiently and achieves a reduction in the size of the device. SOLUTION: A mist generating part 32 as a mist generating mechanism is equipped with a feature as a sterilizing mechanism for sterilizing the liquid for generating the mist, and the sterilizing mechanism is configured by using the residual heat of a PTC heater 36 as a heating device for generating the steam.
