<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow state monitoring sensor of a non-Newtonian fluid having a high operation reliability and a pipe joint for grease flow monitoring using the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The flow state monitoring sensor of the non-Newtonian fluid, such as grease, includes a member, such as a piezoelectric element, outputting an electric signal according to a bending deformation, an elastic body covering the member, and a plurality of rigid bodies connected to the outer surface of the elastic body with a spring. The rigid body is configured to bend at the connection part of the rigid body by the flow of the non-Newtonian fluid and when the flow of the non-Newtonian fluid stops, the bend at the connection part of the rigid body is eliminated by the action of the spring.
