PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly and accurately predict failure of storage interior cooling operation of a cooling storage. SOLUTION: This failure prediction device includes: the cooling storage having a secondary refrigerating circuit provided with a high-temperature side refrigerating circuit and a low-temperature side refrigerating circuit and cooling the storage interior side so that storage interior temperature becomes -70°C or less of a target temperature, a first temperature sensor for detecting the temperature of a cascade condenser and a second temperature sensor for detecting the storage interior temperature; and a control device for predicting failure of the storage interior cooling operation, when a temperature lower than a limit temperature which is a detection temperature by the first temperature sensor in the limit where a detection temperature by the second temperature sensor fails to maintain the target temperature is defined as a first temperature and a detection temperature by the first temperature sensor during operation of a high-temperature side compressor is higher than the first temperature continuously for a first predetermined time or longer.
