<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and improved speaker mounting member for a display device, wherein the need to be removed is eliminated even if various installation methods are adopted and trouble in sight is also canceled. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The speaker mounting member for a display device, includes: one or more mount plates laid on a rear surface of the display device; a connection member which is connected so as to cross the mount plates at a predetermined position in a first direction along a length direction of the mount plates; a movable member which is connected to the connection member so as to be movable along a second direction orthogonal to the first direction; and a speaker mount panel which is attached to the movable member and can mount a speaker thereon.
