<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable effective utilization of photographs or videos which are obtained by photographing or the like and stored. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A controller 10 generates a face index image from a photograph or video which are obtained by photographing or externally acquired and stored, and stores the face index image in a memory 15 with corresponding to registration information of the original photograph or video, or telephone directory. In addition, the controller 10 stores utilization history of browsing or transmission and reception of the photograph or video in the memory 15. Further, when the browsing or transmission and reception of the photograph or video is carried out, the controller 10 notifies user of whether the photograph or video is browsed or whether transmission and reception of the photograph or video is carried out or the like, based on the utilization history of the photograph or video, or transmission and reception history of the photograph or video, or the like.
