PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make secure operability or convenience and crime prevention by enabling crime prevention to be ensured even without confirming operational states of appliances in a garage one by one when remotely controlling the appliances. SOLUTION: A vehicle V, which is parked in an attached garage 11, comprises an LED light emitting portion 71 which emits visible light. On the other hand, in the attached garage 11, there are installed various appliances (shutter system 31, an electric door lock 41 and an illuminator 51) and light receiving portions 96, 97 are provided for receiving visible light emitted by the LED light emitting part 71. A home server 81 then controls the various appliances based on light reception by the light receiving portions 96, 97, namely, through visibly confirmable communication of optical communication between the LED light emitting portion 71 and the light receiving portions 96, 97.
