PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrected image in which contrast free from edge blur is improved with a small amount of operations. SOLUTION: An image processor includes: a luminance signal extracting part for extracting a luminance signal from an input image; a filtering processing part for generating a first corrected image by sequentially deciding pixels under consideration about pixels constituting a luminance signal image, and performing filtering in which the average value of a plurality of pixel values, the values of which are in a central area among a plurality of pixels around the pixels under consideration and the pixel values of the pixels under considerations is defined as the correction pixel value of the pixels under consideration; and an LR processing part for generating a second corrected image obtained by using the filtered image and the input image to correct contrast by Retinex processing.
