摘要 Provided is an optical information reproducing medium for realizing an excellent super resolution reproduction while performing a high-speed reproduction. The optical information recording medium includes a plurality of super resolution layers (13, 15) whose refractive index or attenuation coefficient changes nonlinearly at predetermined temperatures individually corresponding thereto. Individually on at least two of the super resolution layers (13, 15), the light amounts of the laser beams to be irradiated for causing temperatures of the recording medium to reach the predetermined temperatures are different. The recorded information of the optical information recording medium is reproduced by the areas, in which at least one of the plurality of the super resolution layers has changed in optical characteristic nonlinearly whereas at least one of the remaining layers has not changed in optical characteristic nonlinearly is formed as an aperture.
