A magnetron (1) comprises an anode cylinder (11) which is formed into a cylindrical shape with the open opposite ends and on the inner wall surface of which a plurality of vanes (17) are radially arranged, a cathode body structure (18) arranged in the anode cylinder in the axial direction thereof, a pair of magnetic poles (12A, 12B) which are located at opening sections at the opposite ends of the anode cylinder for the purpose of forming a static magnetic field along the axial direction of the anode cylinder in the active space formed between the cathode body structure and the vanes, and a pair of annular magnets (13A, 13B) arranged outside the pair of magnetic poles, a magnetic yoke (10) which is located outside the pair of annular magnets and configures a magnetic path for generating the static magnetic field in the active space together with the pair of magnetic poles and the pair of annular magnets, and bypass lines (14A, 14B) for hermetically sealing the anode cylinder, which are located outside the pair of magnetic poles and provided with a tube portion (21), a flange portion (22) contiguous to the tube portion, and a plurality of protrusions (23) provided to the portion where the tube portion is contiguous to the flange portion. As a result, even when significant pressurization is applied during assembly or in handling, the tube portion of a bypass line can be prevented from falling in the recessed portion of a magnetic pole to prevent the performance deterioration of a magnetron. |
