DUAL-WIDEBAND MONOPOLE ANTENNA USING A MODIFIED SIERPINSKI FRACTAL GASKET

PURPOSE: A double wideband monopole antenna is provided to miniaturize a monopole antenna by cutting a sierpinski fractal-shaped radiation element into halves. CONSTITUTION: A radiation element(22) is formed on the upper side of a dielectric substrate(24). The radiation element has a sierpinski fractal shape. A feeding part(25) supplies power to the radiation element. A ground plane is formed in the lower part of the dielectric substrate in order to correspond to the feeding part. The radiation element includes a first or a third segment. The first segment is connected to the feeding part. A second segment is formed on the first segment. A third segment is formed on the second segment. A triangle slot is formed inside the third segment.
