<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a hollow pressure withstanding molding requiring a pressure withstanding property and air tightness, and the hollow pressure withstanding molding obtained by the manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: An end part of a cylindrical member having the end part opened in at least one side is ultrasonic-fused by a lid member, the cylindrical member and the lid part are moldings of the same thermoplastic and crystalline resin, one side is formed into a protruded shape, and the other is formed into a recessed shape engaged with a protrusion of the protruded shape, in a cylindrical-directional cross section of an ultrasonic-fused junction part, a protrusion distal end face width of the protruded shape is formed into a shape wider than a recessed part bottom face width of the recessed shape, a sloped face along a direction of narrowing the recessed part bottom face width more than a recessed part upper face width is provided on at least one side face of a recessed part inner face of the recessed shape, a protrusion height of the protruded shape is larger than a groove depth of the recessed shape, and the ultrasonic fusion is executed by contact fusion between a side face of the protrusion and a side face of a recessed part, and by contact fusion between a protrusion distal end face and a recessed part bottom face. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
