<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve an image quality of a graphic drawn in a predetermined image included in a digital broadcast signal or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A tuner 41 acquires server access information for connecting to a distribution server which distributes high-quality graphic data representing a second graphic, to be combined with a predetermined image, of which the image quality is higher than that of an enlarged first graphic, in place of the enlarged first graphic enlarged with a predetermined enlargement factor. On the basis of the server access information, a modem 52a or an Ethernet terminal 52b receives the high-quality graphic data from the distribution server. On the basis of the high-quality graphic data and image data representing a predetermined image, an image processing section 46 combines the second graphic with the predetermined image.
