<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform simple and speedy operation when performing control of operation input under a network environment where a plurality of same-type devices are connected, and to easily discriminate a plurality of devices having the same function. <P>SOLUTION: In an operation apparatus, types of control devices connected via a communication means are discriminated, the number of control devices of the same type is registered, and control information including the registered number of control devices of the same type is transferred to a predetermined control apparatus.
