<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic timepiece with solar cell reducing difference of the power generated in each power generation domain of a solar cell with a simplified dividing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the electronic timepiece with solar cell including a dial 5, an optical transparent windproof member 2 deployed on the upper part of the dial 5, and a solar cell 7 power generation domains 7a receiving light to generates electromotive force are formed, where the solar cell 7 is arranged nearly perpendicularly to the dial 5 so as to locate the power generation domains 7a between the dial 5 and the windproof member 2, and a solar cell power generating domains 7a are divided into a power generation domains 7m formed on the dial 5 side, and a plurality of power generation domains including a power generation domains 7n formed on the windproof member 2 side rather than the power generation domains formed on the dial 5 side, areas of each power generation domains in a plurality of power generation domains 7m and 7n are configured so as to enlarge the area of power generation domains where average illuminance per unit area due to non-directional light entered from the windproof member 2 is lower than that of other power generation domains, than area of other power generation domains. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
