<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect disconnection of a steering force assist motor (including detection lines of motor current thereof, or the like) with a simple and inexpensive construction increasing neither the number of signal terminals nor the number of signals for analog-to-digital conversion. <P>SOLUTION: An input terminal section 41 is set on a terminal arrangement that a selector 42 surely selects an input terminal Im-1 of a constant voltage signal just before selecting an input terminal Im of a detection voltage signal of current of the steering force assist motor of an electric power steering device.
