<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyless entry device capable of maintaining the accuracy of positional determination of a mobile device even if a transmission antenna fails. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle side device includes a vehicle side control part which performs a predetermined control when authenticates an answer signal from the mobile device. The mobile device includes a mobile device control part for detecting the intensities of the signals transmitted from a plurality of antennas of the vehicle side device. The vehicle side control part detects the presence or absence of the failure of the plurality of transmission antennas, and determines whether the mobile device is positioned on the inside or outside of a predetermined boundary surface using the signal intensity data from the transmission antenna which does not fail. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
